It was good. Had a spot right on the beach at the park. Crowd was a mix of rednecks, Hispanic families, and 20-somethings like us. Fishing sucked. Only came away with one barely legal red and one small trout. Caught too many bastard hardheads to count.

So what are your thoughts on the canned Mechahopzilla?
I only had one last night, i feel i must have another tonight to give a good review. But, based on the one yesterday...
It was, ok. I seem to recall it being very damn good, last time i had it. Tastes different this time. I'll know more tonight.

None at mathernes on highland. Did pick up timber beast and parish farmhouse ipa to tryy though.

Wife picked it up for me at Matherne's BB tonight and I enjoyed it. I didn't find it overpowering hopwise, had a bit of an alcohol finish but nice overall. Get it cold and it will have a nice bite on a hot day.

I liked it and if buying a NOLA IPA would buy Mecha and not NOLA Hopitulas. I thought it had an alcohol finish but not bad.

They have 'em at Cuban. Didn't try one yet, because I ate too much at Omi earlier.
