I Gamefly almost every single game.

I couldn't even tell you the last time I paid full price for a game and have no intentions do so.

Rent Far Cry 3, beat in about 4 days, sent back, AC3, same thing, rented CoD for a month, sent back.

Why would anyone pay $60 for a game when you can rent it for 15 a month and in that time play and beat 3 new release titles that would cost you $180?

Xbox one is Jordan fade away at the buzzer in game 7. Ps4 is the uncontested Lebron layup at the buzzer in game 1.

Also, a poster on Neogaf that has a pretty flawless leak record (going back to 2005, and has most recently leaked that Remember Me was no longer a Sony exclusive and going to all platforms) has said that two cool things.

1. Smartglass is mandatory for all launch games in some way or shape.

2. Dead Rising 3 is an Xbone exclusive.

if you can afford a $500 console, why can't you afford a $60 game?

Just because you have disposable income doesn't mean you should blow it all.

I never buy used games. Ever. I like to collect and will sometimes not buy something if it isn't sealed. Still, having this is dumb as hell. Keep spinning tho.

I wouldn't consider it blowing it.

in fact I would say I save a ton of money by gaming compared to my other hobbies and bad habits

$60 for a game. if I get 20 hours of entertainment from it. Worth every penny, because I'm not at bar dropping a $300 tab with friends, at ballgames for $80 a ticket, or wasting more money on females for pussy

while a good point, you're a rare breed tho Hog. Most people nowadays play games to play with their friends or be apart of a community.

My LESI friends might want to play CoD for a week, then get burnt out, then want to play Dead Island for a few days, get burnt out, back to CoD, burnt out, TigerWoods golf for a few days.

If I return all the games I didn't play for a few days, all Id be playing is CoD. And we all know that shite fricking sucks.

And typically I get more out of 10-15 hours from a game. If it's a quality title and my friends play it, I will literally wear the fricking disc down to the point where it's useless.

I kid you not I went thru 3 copies of MW2. 2 copies of BLOPs.

You're misunderstanding me. I agree with you completely that spending $60 on a game is not blowing your money. If I can get a great 5-6 hour experience, even though it's short, I'm more than satisfied.

I'd normally wait because prices drop so quickly and I like to trade games around with friends.

That's because Xbox scratches discs.

Sorry, I could not help myself.

Maybe you do buy all your games new. That's fine. But sometimes I don't want to buy a game. I'd rather rent.

As long as Microsoft/Sony offer that I will probably be fine.

I can survive if I can no longer buy and sell used, but if I don't even get an full timed trial (12 hours or so) via download then its gonna suck regardless of console.

I feel it's just a bit hasty to condemn a console when we don't know what the final used game situation will be like. still plenty of time for them to back off if in fear of losing the market.

They NEVER said there would be a used game fee.

It doesn't matter what you buy. I highly expect both companies to slowly work used games out of the equation.

If they would offer full digital downloads at a cheaper price due to no manufacturing costs it could go a long way in helping them ultimately do away with GameStop.

I will have a fairly large increase of disposable income in the next few weeks but I will still contemplate each game I buy at 60 bucks a pop. If you could cut that down to 35-40 for digital downloads I'd be much more inclined to buy and not rent.

What makes you say this? I know ps3 is being better for the GPU but what about Sony using the low end AMD graphics card and Xbox using the high end steam roller ADM card? Does this not make a difference?

Sony is licking their chops right now, as negative information just keeps leaking out, i.e., even your current headset won't be compatible with the One. The concensus at this point is that it's a toy for the privileged that don't mind getting nickel and dimed to death.

I have seen you post a lot and think you had your mind up about this gen sometime during the middle of the last generation. I think you hate Xbox in general.
