Weekly Waiver Wire and Buy/Sell: Who do you like?

*Just a thread to get some discussion going on who you think are the best waiver pickups are for each week.
*Also, please share your buy and sell players as well.
I'll start with 2 young prospects. If you have room on your roster to take a flyer they could potentially pay off immediately... at minimum they're worth a stash.
Marcell Ozuna OF, Marlins - Some thought he was rushed to the bigs... but through 9 games he is proving otherwise. ride him while he is hot or until Stanton gets back from the DL. even then I think they will find a permanent way to keep him playing. A must add IMO.
more notes:
Oswaldo Arcia OF, Twins - he definitely hasn't disappointed since being called up. he currently has a 7 game hit streak and is showing a ton of power with just 64 at bats with 3 HRs and 11 RBIs... impressive! The twins look committed to him all year. I'd run and add him to your roster if you haven't already.
more notes:
If you're looking for pitching...
Drew Smyly RP, Tigers - while you're waiting for him to make the starting rotation... he can be a solid addition that will help you lower your ERA and will also add a few notches to your weekly strikeout total.

The Marlins promoted Ozuna when Giancarlo Stanton went to the DL with a hamstring injury. He had been tearing up Double-A Jacksonville, hitting .333/.383/.810 with five homers and 15 RBI in just 10 games. In his first six games in the majors, he's 11-for-24 with a homer and four RBI. The Marlins have no justification to send him back to the minors, not with the way their offense has performed as a whole. If you add Ozuna, you won't just be getting a two-week rental player. He should be owned in all but the shallowest of formats.
Oswaldo Arcia OF, Twins - he definitely hasn't disappointed since being called up. he currently has a 7 game hit streak and is showing a ton of power with just 64 at bats with 3 HRs and 11 RBIs... impressive! Oswaldo Arcia went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored as the Twins beat the Red Sox 15-8 on Wednesday. the next night Oswaldo Arcia had a two-run homer and a triple to lead the Twins offense Thursday in a 5-3 win over the Red Sox. He'll go through the usual rookie growing pains, but he's got intriguing power. There are worse flyers in deep mixed leagues.
If you're looking for pitching...
Drew Smyly RP, Tigers - while you're waiting for him to make the starting rotation... he can be a solid addition that will help you lower your ERA and will also add a few notches to your weekly strikeout total.

This is more a speculative add based on the belief that Smyly will eventually make it into Detroit's rotation this year. In 10 relief appearances covering 20 innings, Smyly has a 1.35 ERA, 1.65 FIP and 21 strikeouts against five walks. His high strikeout rate and even ground ball/fly ball ratio makes him an ideal fit for the Tigers, a team that does not exactly boast the league's best infield defense. On the flip side of this zero sum, Rick Porcello has a 7.52 ERA and 4.90 FIP. He's barely striking out more than five batters per inning, and while his 57.6 percent ground-ball rate would be a huge asset on most teams, its value is marginalized in Detroit. I'm betting Smyly eventually takes his spot in the rotation. When he does, you'll be very happy you already have shares in the lefty.

I nabbed Arcia in one league.
Wanted to grab him in another, but too many OF already there.

A little too late now, but Scott Kazmir and Vernon Wells were two of my sleepers this year. I drafted Kazmir late only to drop him when he went on the dl.
I like to gamble on veterans with previous success in the majors over call ups when looking some waiver wire guys though
Like gyno said, I really don't want to say a couple guys I am considering because of being in td leagues.
This was a good thread topic though.

Now is the time to grab Zack Wheeler if you're in a 12 team, non-keeper.

Zach McCallister has been lights out for CLE. He's a pitcher

Nick Franklin should be close to being called up.
Also, as mentioned, Zach Wheeler.
Logan Morrison is owned in 0.7% of ESPN leagues, should be back in a month. I'd rather take a chance on him than a prospect.
