Evidently pointing to the sky can get a track relay team disqualified from a state track meet, but gays coming out in sports should be celebrated. Our country is so backwards.

The same thing happened in a high school football playoff game. It has to do with celebration rules.. not pointing to heaven.

While this does suck for that track team, these two thing have nothing to do with one another.

So by calling the stupid rule stupid, he is stupid for thinking it's stupid. That's stupid.
Stupid.
Stupid.

Except that's not what he did. Can you read?
ETA: Brilliant journalism though, had they used a simple headline they wouldn't have received as many as they did by using something that would get the masses going crazy

Yes I can read and I can also put two and two together. You apparently suck at that.
You also seem to get angry pretty easily so I will leave it alone.

Eh rules are rules but I will say making that rule for fricking track is stupid.

Yeah the rule is stupid but it has nothing to do with religion.

Eh, it's BS that religious expression is frowned upon under these rules.

you can't really do a gay rights celebration on the field either, so I don't get where you're going with this

The problem with celebration rules is that the enforcement of them isn't using any common sense. If you break into a 30 second long dance, that is clearly excessive celebration, but penalizing athletes for pointing to the sky or saluting the crowd is silly.

This.
The issue is that "zero tolerance" policies are retarded.

I high step in my religion on the way to the endzone. WHY ARE THEY DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ME?!?!?

It was deemed a celebration, just like if the gay player had done some thing real quick to give thanks to all gay people, he would have gotten a penalty as well.
The OP is so far off base here, it's just silly.

Interesting. I wonder what a gay rights celebration on the field would look like.
