Who liked that tv series back when they were a child? I sure did.

I loved me some Quantum Leap growing up. Used to sit there and watch it with my paw paw

Great show; great writing, great cast, great humor, great drama. This show is greatness all around. A film would be fantastic if cast as brilliantly as the show.

Wished they would make a movie.
That or a movie of Voyagers.

I actually watched the first 2 episodes last night because of this gif:
I may watch one a day, it is a cool premise. Very similar to The Jersey which I loved in middle school.

I remember its first run airing from my childhood.
BUT I have more memories of watching it on syndication on USA when I was in college.
My then BF, now husband and his roommate used to watch it on USA every night.
We would fire up the bong, eat square lunchroom pizzas, play Rook, and watch "Quantum Leap".
We were seniors and tired of the bar scene every night. It was awesome.

Would the film format be of a series of different leaps or one long one

I was to young to follow during the original run but caught it later and really liked it.
SPOILER ALERT
Still Hard to believe a broadcast network back then let such a popular show end on that big of a down note. "Dr Samuel Beckett never made the leap home".

Sliders > Quantum Leap.
Even if I'm the only one in the world who thinks so, I'm sticking with that.

Best episode vs best episode I at least understand the argument even if I don't agree.
Overall as series, with the crap Sliders pulled at the end, no way in hell.

Ziggy predicts a (bangs device in hand) 76.7% chance of this happening.
Seriously, though, a few of the best episodes were the Vietnam one (where Bakula plays "Imagine" on the guitar), the one with the deaf dancer chick, and the episode where Sam has one last dance with his wife (was that Dana Delaney?).

Loved that they let Al have a dance with his wife Beth (can't believe I remember her name)
I wouldn't mind them bringing back the evil leaper. That trilogy was fantastic (and took place in Louisiana)

Quantum Leap is probably my all-time favorite TV show. It had drama, action, & comedy; it made me laugh & cry. I loved how they tried to include historical stuff in it too.
No, that was Susan Diol, who's had bit parts or guest spots in a zillion TV shows.

Man, when I was a kid I used to watch Quantum Leap reruns on USA every night before I went to bed. Awesome show. Al was always getting pissed at Ziggy for glitching and shite.
