Dang, it must have been way too long since I read that. I thought it was his. I better go edit.
i just read another chapter where he is dreaming of her death. he says that in his dreams, it's always his arrow that does the deed from which you can infer that in real life it wasn't his that killed her

Yeah. I don't have problems with Jojen being sick or having epilepsy or with his visions causing him to have seizures. It just seems they could have given him some visions with maybe a tad more specificity. Heck, wrong side of the wall could mean either side under certain circumstances. And surrounded by enemies is pretty dang ambiguous too considering Jon's present circumstances. His situation with the Wildlings hardly fit that pattern right now. It could perhaps be said that he is still their enemy because he is undercover. But at least some of them are definitely acting as his friend more than his enemy.

It's no big deal really. I guess they were trying to show that Jojen's powers are not that specific and setting it up so Bran's powers surpass him in the long run. At this point it seems like Jojen's visions are on a par with what Melissandre sees in her flames or what Maggy the frog foretold.

Off topic - but it sure is pleasant reading these GoT threads without all he bickering back and forth about spoilers. I know I for one don't post anything at all in the non reader thread, even to agree with valid points they make about having to use close captioning to really follow some of the dialogue.

That non-reader thread is so much more enjoyable to read. A few of the non-readers really stepped up their game with solid analysis.

I apologize if this was mentioned in the previous 27 pages of post (yikes!), but I had a question about the revelation that Joffery, not Cersei, ordered Tyrion dead during the battle of Blackwater. Is that the way it was in the books? That was not my recollection. I had thought that it was Cersei. I saw at least 1 website that suggests that the books don't reveal the answer. Does anyone know what was said about this in the books?

I think cersei is full of shite. Maybe that fake info will be used against him after the purple wedding.

OTOH, that might explain why Tyrion was the main suspect in the death of Joffrey. So perhaps that's where they're going with that. I forget why he was suspected in the book.

Shitfaced Joeff as the midgets fight at the wedding and Tyrion gets pissed. At a wedding shower type thing(or nameday) Tyrion gives him a book as gift and joeff tears it up.

Basically the king is a real count

ah...good points, Dire Wolf - I'd forgotten that stuff. Altho I guess a prior assassination attempt by Joffrey might seal the deal. Perhaps they will cut out some of that other stuff on the show, so they needed some extra "evidence" against Tyrion.

they are trying to figure out a name for us in the Hodor thread.

Tyrion fits the bill best. i would've suggested Old Nan but they wouldn't remember her.

I doubt they go with Tyrion because he is so well liked among the fandom. If I had to guess, I'd say they go with Samwell Tarly, because of his weight, etc.

I for one would not take offense to being lumped in with Sam the Slayer.

Billy Mays is definitely a book reader. He adds little details that are off to make it seem like he's not, but way too much clarity for someone who isn't spoiled.

Not worth the effort... As long as he's not dropping spoilers through "predictions", he's harmless.

Except that he's a book reader clearly leading their discussion and aiming in which direction the thread goes....

It's a shame because non-book readers will obviously see the merit in his "ideas" and follow him. I think the most obvious evidence of readers as a false front were the ones who said it was "obvious" that it was a Bolton that has Theon. When the true non-readers haven't had a clue until the readers started pointing out how obvious their sigil was.

If it were a true non-reader thread there would be mass confusion, conpsiracy theories all over the place and a few close guesses. Instead the more they discuss an issue the more they zero in on the actual plot line... There's no way you let 20 random people watch the show without reading that they come to a unified agreement that Theon is being tortured by the Bastard son of Roose Bolton.
