Draft beer is expensive at restaurants.

I paid 29$ for 4 goose island 312 last night at bfww.

You'd think local beers(Abita, tin roof , Parrish) wouldn't be so high on tap.

what's really damning is what this says about the intelligence and taste of the thousands of people that flock there every week.

Beer prices have been hitting restaurants pretty hard for about a year and half now. I'm just happy to get at least a 14 oz beer these days. Had some 312 at Twin Peaks and paid $4.50 for a 10 oz beer. I'm sincerely hoping I can hold my most expensive draft prices at $4.25.

Yep. And I don't know if they did away with happy hour, but I used to be able to go before baseball games and have a few drinks at a fair price. Now, it's $11 martinis and $6 Canebrakes on my tab...Sweet. $80 w/ tip for a couple rounds of drinks and an app. I don't know if the prices are keeping people away on game days, but they definitely aren't as busy as they used to be before baseball games.

PBR is $2.50 there all day/every day.

Why in the hell would anybody want to go to Walk Ons before a Saints game? It's called tailgating, do it.

$6 draft beers are getting out of hand. A Hopitoulas at a dive bar down the street from the freakin brewery is $6. I refuse to pay that.
