I love me some Brad Pitt. Not only is he gorgeous to look at, the man can act. So what do you think is his best movie role?
So many to choose from. My top two are Louis in Interview with a Vampire and Joe in Meet Joe Black. Course that is the chick in me talking, picking two movies that he looked amazing in.

I was just about to post that if we're talking acting, it's 12 Monkeys. Fight Club is my favorite role of his though. Can't beat Tyler Durden.

Yeah he can play a crazy person very well
I guess I took the easy way out and picked roles in movies that I loved in general, not just how great he was in that role.

as amazing as inglorious basterds was.... he sucked in it, and i thought he actually brought the movie down

Clearly the correct answer is True Romance.

two of my favorites of him from the early 90s are "kalifornia", where he plays a nutjob, and "true romance", where he has a smaller, but very memorable role...i don't see these mentioned very often, so i thought i would, although they're maybe not his best per se.

As much as I want to say Fight Club, I really think it's Moneyball.

He's an ok actor. I don't think he's ever given a performance where in like "oh wow he was so good in that."
With that said, fight club will be the performance he is remembered for. He was shown up by Fassbender and waltz in basterds

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Fight Club
Interview with the Vampire
12 Monkeys
Inglorious Basterds
Snatch
He was great in all of them but I have to go with Fight Club. That role seemed to take him to another level and made him what he is today.

All of those movies he's kind of the same guy, fight club was the only role where his character had some real personality without a gimmick

In SOME of those movies he plays similar characters I guess but the same can be said about plenty of good actors. Christoph Waltz, Edward Norton, Tom Cruise just to name a few involved with the list.

The first and only movie where I have seen him create and sustain a believable character IMO was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Otherwise he's a decent Robert Redford type that can go in a few different directions (Snatch, True Romance) and can bring a little weight to a role even if it isn't artful.
