Quick question: Which one of the chicks did you think was hotter? I'm torn, the red head had a killer body, but the brunette had a little better face. I'll take Vicky.
I think I've seen an IMAX movie before, but I can't really remember. We were too late for the regular movie so we went to the late IMAX version. I was like wtf when $16.15 came up, movie prices are freaking bs, but o well. This movie was legit in IMAX. The sound was killer.
Thoughts on the movie? I enjoyed it. The first 30 minutes were really really good, had a very Alien like vibe to it. Then it became Armageddon. Then it became 2001: A Space Odyssey/iRobot. The ending was pretty disappointing. Why does America have to have super happy endings? Tom Cruise being Bruce Willis would have been good, especially since he ended up having a baby, that was happy enough. But no, they have to bring the clone back.
I felt back for Victoria. She was hot, actually loved him, but just honestly believed in her job/their mission. That was the most tragic part of the movie, not Jack dying.

dont forget that it took a chunk of the plot from Moon as well.
(which was probably taken from something else I'm sure)
oh, and you paid $16 b/c you saw it in IMAX.
I saw it last night at the Dallas North Park mall for $11 around 6:30 pm.

I saw it on Saturday. I actually liked it. The visuals were really cool and I liked the look of the movie. It kind of got clunky towards the end, but I enjoyed it overall.
I thought both chicks were hot. I agree with your assessment. Julia is probably hotter, but red heads and women with English accents really do it for me. So, I would go with Victoria. You couldn't go wrong either way.

The chicks are a tough call, can't go wrong with either
I didn't understand why the aliens had to make the clones in the first place. Just to fix the drones?

It was Total Recall on Tatooine during the Attack of the Clones where he had to blow up the Death Star on Independence Day.

Artificial Alien Intelligence being clones Cruise and his co-pilot for takeover mission. At first Jack was a soldier, later a tech. Problem was that replication was effective it transferred memory. My theory is that the programming only lasted so long and then more and more memories flooded back.

one of the more predictable movies ive seen in the past few years. had almost the whole thing figured out 30min in, and the only curveball i missed was the clones. I thought "no fricking way they copy off of Moon with the clones too" but they did.
That being said, I enjoyed it. Some of the best visual effects I've seen, great score, some great scenes, especially at the beginning, and a cool world.

Vicky FTW. Great score, was listening to it at work today, kinda is a cross between mass effect in batman begins IMO. Movie surprised me bc I had low expectations. Yes Morgan Freeman was phoning it in. Needed more Jamie Lannister.
One thing that I remembered from the trailer was that the scavs were more animal like in their movements. Am I the only one or it just me.
