How does one achieve this "Top Replies" status?

What does it all mean?

Am I seeing things again?

Did the terrorists win?

If it is applied only to the larger threads then I think it is a great idea.

I am guessing that's what the thumbs up button was intended for so we could have a feature sort of like Reddit but the way things get abused here it's never been fully implemented. Looks like Chicken or the admin are the ones that chose those top replies.

If I get enough people to like this comment and it becomes a top reply, I will share some of my lotto ticket earnings and Bill Gates' money

Edit: send it "c/o Ice Cold."

Where is this proverbial Top Replies button you speak of? I'm not seeing it.

It allows the admins to take a stand out post and apply it to the top. I guess initially it was to be posts with the most likes, but I believe it is chosen by the admins.
