Interesting Info regarding the Jamie Collins and the Saints!

I dont know if I should post this or not.
I will probably get flamed because I dont have an ESPN link to this story.
But I have been here since 2006 and have never posted any non sense.
My friend is REAL close friends with Jamie Collins.
Collins was all but promised that the Saints are going to do absolutely everything they can to draft him.
He will be in New Orleans tomorrow for another visit. Collins said that the Saints have talked to him by far more then any other team and its not even close.
I have been told this for over a month but never could quite figure out how the Saints would be able to pull this off.
He is too much of a reach at 15 and he wont be there in the 3rd.
But since the Ivory talk has started its all starting to make sense.
Based on everything im told I would say its almost a certainty that the Saints will draft Collins in the 2nd round if they can get one.
Collins says 3 days dont go by without talking to someone from the Saints.
Collins has been a huge Saints fan since the day he was born.
He has a retro Dome Patrol poster in his bedroom.
He does not drink or do any drugs.
He was top level student.
He is nothing short of first class from all reports.
Who Dat.

I think he will be available in round three. I don't see the Saints trading up to take him.

As much as we all would love to get a 2nd rounder, it's slimmer than slim to none. I honestly have a better chance of impregnating Jessica Alba. Which if we do land a 2nd rounder in some miraculous way, I will do all I can to see Jess.

Don't stone me for posting this.....You know...I was listening the the "moving the chains" show on Sirius, and both Kirwan and TRock said that they think the Saints will make a trade with Frisco......giving them the 15th pick, for the 31, & 34th pick in return.
It makes a lot of sense to have that trade....For Frisco, they need quality....they have like 14 picks in this draft, so they looking for ways to trade up. The Saints are in prime position to get back their 2nd rd pick.

Depends on who's there at 15. If Jones slips that far trading back will be unforgivable!

If Jones is there at 15 When we are on the clock,I say frick a trade down

Nice little bit of insider info! I would rather trade down and get Collins AND another quality pick later in the first than settle for a guy like Mingo at #15

If Jones, Mingo, Jordan, Star, or the three OTs aren't there at 15 then I would be happy to trade back. Especially if that means we land Collins.

There is only one draft talk rule. Don't believe anything you're hearing right now.

I have no doubt that the Saints could be telling him "We're gonna do all we can to get you." The draft is a fluid exercise though. I like Collins a lot. I don't count him as an absolutely gone at #75 player. More likely gone, but it wouldn't be a shocker if he was around.
The Saints could maneuver easily to get him without the #15 pick in the equation. Giving up #109 could jump you all the way to #62 at the end of the 2nd Rd. Giving up #144 could move ya up about seven spots to #68. A little bit more of the same if a Jets 4th or 5th Rder was acquired for Ivory.
If no pass rushing OLB is taken at #15 I think Collins could then be a top second pick target. If they do any trade back his probability as a target increases exponentially as well. Just wanted to point out that he could easily be grabbed without the first round selection being a part of the plan.
