If he makes the grades and starts, he'll more than likely be a one-and-done. If he is, more than likely, we'll be all the better for it.
Because that means ODBJr & JL80 are gonna come back for another year.
The TE's revival (thanks to Cam) and Leslie's ability to impact a defense over the top by blowing the top off of the coverage is going to give the other kids the ability to operate on the short routes.
Dural will be Leslie v 2.0 if he can keep himself healthy. He's nick-prone thusfar.
It remains to be seen if JL80 & ODBJr can consistently separate on intermediate routes, but with Leslie giving them help on vertical routes, the zone looks and the man looks are gonna get pressured bigtime via vertical threats.

He isnt quite explosive as Patterson, but I think he actually has better hands. I also think we will keep him for 2 years based off of our conversations.
Patterson 4.42 in the 40
Leslie 4.36 in the 40

Where and when did Leslie run a laser 4.36? Not saying you're lying, but I have never heard that.

I've seen him listed from 4.36 to 4.40....

Sometimes one of the worst sources to discuss grades and eligibility is the person in question. If he was borderline or questionable with regards to his eligibility would you expect him to tell you that? Kids exaggerate about grades all the time. I hope he makes it campus but until he does I won't assume anything.

his tutor said he is way above the minimum grade to qualify right now fwiw

listed times are almost always wrong because they are handtimed.
If hes as fast as Patterson, that will be unreal, especially with his height and hands.
I doubt he's that fast though. Patterson has another gear in pads.

His name is too long. Needs to shorten it up before he moves up the depth chart.
Then again, maybe I am joking

I know that, but whether the kid is 4.36, 4.40 or 4.42, he's a burner and can get separation which was rarely evident last year in LSU's WR corp. Should be fun to watch. I'm just happy he's not on an opposing team as he will be a playmaker.

Because the Rock said so!

I hate to be the skeptic, but have y'all seen his stats?
Hinds Stats
These numbers are way behind Patterson's juco production and they just aren't that great. I think Mireles is headed for Ole Miss. It is notable that when Leslie does catch a pass, it goes for big yards.
The word on him is he didn't run good routes and seemed disinterested this year. He was obviously that way in the classroom too. Hopefully for him, his new focus on academics (I'm hearing the same thing I read on here, that the kid got a wake-up call and is really busting his behind in the classroom now) will translate to better work habits on the football field too.

all those deep passes that Mett slightly overthrew last season will turn into catches with Leslie. He has the speed and size to get those passes. Can't wait to see it. Line him up with Landry or Durel (if he is the real deal) and add in Dickerson at TE. Give Mett a little time in the pocket and the passing game could be dangerous this season. Just think how that would open up the running game for Hill or underneath passes to Blue. This offense has potiential for big things with Cameron running the show.

Don't think Cam will put up with loafing and laziness. Buck up or never see the field.
