Last time I flew, the woman sitting in the middle claimed armrests on both sides immediately and didn't move her arms even once. I thought the protocol for having a middle seat is deal with it, tough shite, you get no arm room.

Given that the middle seat suck arse and I have one dedicated armrest and a bit of additional space I usually concede the armrest to the poor middle sap.

On my vacation I had the window on all 10 flights, didn't plan it that way but was glad.

Soooo I'm building a new pc, I wanted to build for 4k gaming but I realize it might be better to wait and build for 2k?

corsair vengeance c70 Case
Corsair Dominator Platinum Series 16GB DDR4 DRAM 3000 MHz
GTX 1080
Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
i7 6700k
corsair H100i
Samsung 950 PRO 500gb M2 Drive
Corsair Hx1000i Power supply (With new the 1080 coming out and having lower power consumption hoping I can run sli with no problems with 1000w power supply? )

I want a good G Sync monitor what would you guys recommend?

GTX 1080 will probably be a decent enough 4K card

You don't need a 1000w PSU even for SLI. I imagine that HX100i is probably way overpriced. 80+ Platinum premium is for suckers. So is that ASUS Maximus Hero motherboard unless you're going custom loop for advanced overclocking. Plenty of great Z170 boards in the $140-160 range.

When do you guys think we will see Pascal laptops out in the wild? The new 2016 razer blade is pretty tempting with its form factor and the razer core but it lacks some essential features as well (Gsync, RAM, HD Space).

The 850w version of that PSU isn't horribly priced. But this unit is also excellent: LINK

Power supplies are important, but all that means is that the PSU needs to be good. Remember that 80+ certification ratings are not a measure of quality or longevity.

For motherboards, take a look at the ASUS Z170-A, GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 and Gaming 6, and ASRock Z170 Extreme4+. Compare features and aesthetics. They all support SLI, DDR4, M.2 PCIe, USB 3.1/Type-C, Sata Express, and decent overclocking. Ignore marketing, brand bias, and user reviews, except for the ones that point out specific flaws.

Just ordered 2 Noctua NF-S12A FLX fans. My 10+ year old case fans are just too loud for my taste.

Not really.

If your gaming, a 3450 at 3.1 GHz should be good enough. Maybe look into upgrading your RAM or GPU (1070 or 1080) and definitely get an SSD if you don't have one.

For me, I jumped from using a build with a Pentium 4 so it was a no brainer

I don't think you'll be gaining much upgrading to Skylake from your current PC.

I'd get the first monitor, but I'm biased against ultrawides. Keep in mind you'd have to eventually upgrade your gpu to hit frame rates that take advantage of the increased refresh rate, unless you just play older games.

One more thing, according to Sisoft database, C7 has 2304 cores, there is a possibility that there's another P10 chip with 2560 cores (full silicon), even faster than those. Just wanted to make it clear.

Oh baby. Rock hard.

I'll probably end up going with the lowest priced flagship. Accounting for the cost of a variable refresh monitor, pretty much seals it that I'll be switching back to team red.
