I think for around that range maybe 189 you can get a 1080/144 at like 24 inches. I'd prob do that.

I'm looking for a wireless mouse for work which makes no sound or near silent while clicking.
Any suggestions?

I prefer mice and keyboards that have loud feedback when I click or press on keys so I probably wouldn't be the best person to advise you on that front

I do also, but at home. This is for office.

Upgrade time, I just order the 850 EVO 500 GB SSD, I have the Hyper 212 CPU cooler to install, and right now it looks like I will get the GTX 1080.

I'm still holding out, but my next upgrade will be comprehensive, because I'll probably turn my Haswell build into a media server.

Thoughts about this monitor. Currently have a 23 asus and trying to decide whether to get another 23 and dual or get this. Also would like recommendations for best bang for buck on gpu that supports free sync. Lastly how much of a difference is gsync/free sync, is it worth upgrading. My current gpu doesn't support it.
Thanks

Spec-wise, it is a nice monitor. I am not a fan of ultra-wides at all, but I'd definitely go for one that size over the 29" monitors I've seen.
For GPU recommendations, I need to know your full system specs, as well as how much you'd be willing to spend on a new graphics card.
To take advantage of variable refresh, you'll need a card that can handle that resolution at a reasonable framerate. The issue with freesync is that while the technology supports a range of 9hz to 200+hz, it's the panel itself that really dictates the usable range. And because freesync doesn't have to undergo the same kind of validation as Nvidia's gsync or require additional hardware, the quality can vary. It's also why freesync monitors are quite a bit cheaper than gsync monitors.
A quick Google tells me the freesync range for the monitor you linked is 48 to 75hz. That means that at any moment your frame rate drops below 48fps, freesync would be disabled and you'd see the usual screen tearing that you may or may not notice/care about -- and that's really the key factor in determining whether or not you'll even care about a variable refresh rate monitor. If you aren't a stickler about keeping a consistent framerate or you aren't sensitive to tearing or stutter, you may not even care about freesync/gsync.

This is incorrect, AMD released Low Framerate Compensation last year. Freesync has no minimum range. #Crimson
ETA: The more I read up on the 1080 the more I dislike it. Nvidia marketing is doing it's thing though. Surprised a bit that in DX12 it loses performance at 4K and only sees a 0.43% increase at 1440p but at the same time not with how poorly Nvidia is doing with DX12.

I'll have to look up all the specs but I do know I have an i5 3570. The gpu is powercolor Radeon 7870 myst Tahiti.

Looks like DDR4 Cas Latency is improving with the new G Skill kits getting down to CL13 at 3200 from CL16.

What ugly design.. Jesus.
An I just getting old? I just want minimalist design with solid blacks or whites. No text or color.

I don't completely like it either, but it's a step in the right direction away from this shite:

I like the grey with white, looks really clean. I'll actually probably get the 3466 CL14 kit to upgrade from my 3000 CL16 current kit.

Yeah the gray is actually fine. Looks great. Was mostly speaking to the others and the sticks not being symmetrical along the top. Its all personal preference brother.
I like squares, rectangles, straight lines and 90 degree angles.

Totally. I still have a few pairs of Ripjaws X @ 2800 DDR3. Was the only decently priced DDR3 sticks at high speed 3-4yrs ago.
I have soo many damn DDR3 sticks.
