So after the OS and other programs like steam are on there, about how much space am I looking at being able to use?

Here are the games I have installed on my SSD right now starting from largest size:

Battlefield 3: 34GB
Skyrim Legendary Edition with lots of mods: 25GB
The Witcher 2: 20GB
Portal 2: 12GB
Fallout 3: 9GB
DMC Devil May Cry: 8GB
Black Ops 2 Multiplayer: 5GB
Garry's Mod: 3.5GB
Max Payne 1.5GB
Poker Night 2: 600MB

So I have 9 games of hugely varying file sizes taking up roughly 120GB of space. Other large programs include Adobe Master Collection, Office 2010 with all the extra business software, Acoustica Mixcraft, Acrobat Pro, and a bunch of other programs at various sizes under 1GB.

Keep in mind the 256GB drive is really 238GB after formatting in Windows' world of measuring bytes--so including those programs/games above and the OS files, I have used 191GB and have 47GB free. I recently did a cleanout of some games that I knew I was not going to play again for the foreseeable future, so that free space is more than average. I've read that in some drives, it's best to leave 20% of free space. I think it depends on the controller. I do remember that Sandforce based SSDs had that problem among others, where performance would degrade by as much as 50% if there was less than 20% free space left.

It's a torrent I got a couple of years ago, CS5. I haven't looked for a new one since then because this one has always been fine for my basic photoshop skills. I don't even remember where I got it from, but I'm guessing it was kickass torrents.

Need some help: I want to get a GeForce GTX760, but I need one that would fit in a smaller case. the normal sized card is too big. Any ideas where I can find one? tried google and such but i'm nervous about getting the wrong one. any suggestions?

ah awesome thanks. 2nd question, video card is going out for the 2nd time, just a problem with this particular card (nvidia 545) or a problem with the system? because I don't want to spend money on a new card if something else is wrong

I bet it has a pretty cheap motherboard in it. You don't have a GPU switch out with, do you?

Asus 760

I'm pretty sure that they make on with a smaller cooler on it but I can't remember where I saw it at. Check some reviews on YouTube just to make sure that's the small one.

Hahaha I'm still in the ATL so I can't. You already have that anyway, sort of.

Tell blue that if he would have posted that about wanting to sell that saber tooth earlier yesterday, then I would have bought it. I got a factory refurb rev 2 for 130 off of eBay yesterday.

I'm more interested in selling the mobo/cpu together now. It will make it easier for me to ship.

I've already decided I'm going itx in the fractal node 304

Yea I know but still...

I could build half of a nice full mini-ITX with that money anyway.

It feels weird right now. I have sold almost everything I had. I am down to a spare 8350, 6300, some ram, a few z77 mobos, a case and an HDD.

I need to buy something.
