If you could start a franchise with either James Harden or Anthony Davis...

...at the current ages, who would you pick?

AD and its not close. harden is a nice player but will never sniff top 10 elite. The ceiling is there for AD at least.

let's see, this is a Louisiana message board so I wonder how this will go

James Harden. Dude is a fricking monster

Harden is legit, but if AD ever maxes out on that potential then you're talking something special. So I guess him.

I think Davis has the higher ceiling, but Harden has been LeBron lite this year. He's more of a sure thing at this point, I suppose.

I am no Hornets fan, but you have to go with AD. Franchises are built around big men!

Read that as James (Lebron), Harden, or Anthony Davis

id probably pick harden. ask me in 3 years maybe it will be different

I really like James Harden, but because Davis is a big man along with being younger and having a cheaper contract I guess him.
It is a tough choice as Harden has proved more; however, Davis is a young big man with a well rounded skill set.
Davis should easily average 20/10 with decent minutes next year IMO. He also will be a solid shot blocker.

Harden, no doubt. Davis will never be a top 10 player, Harden already is one.

My brother is the biggest Rockets fan I know. He's the definition of a fanatic. It's actually pretty annoying. Well he may be right when he complains that nobody respects Harden because y'all are nuts! Harden has been dominating this year. Unreal stuff. He's an elite scorer who has the rare clutch gene. Can really close a game, especially with his ability to get to the line. He leads the league in old fashioned three point plays, which I think is one of the biggest momentum changers in basketball.

Harden.
If youre starting a franchise your main goal is to get fans attention right now. Harden will do that for you. Ad might would too but not at the level harden will.

Harden
He's not only an elite shooting guard, he's your point guard and small forward. I'm going with the creator, play maker, and scorer here.
Nope.

Would you trade Harden for Davis straight up?
Nope.
