First of all, it was a joke.
Second of all, if the "selects" left the LHSAA, then this wouldn't be an issue.
Lhsaa has been botching this with publics forever too....

1994 West Monroe football. LHSAA rules Henry Mack is ineligible and WM must forfeit first 5 games. They were 4-1 at the time. Then after sitting out a week, he's ruled eligible. BUT...WM still forfeits first 5 games. How the frick can you be eligible but the team must forfeit half their season? WM missed the playoffs.
