I'd say Muriel's is decent.

It's not going to blow anyone away with what they serve, but it certainly won't be a bad meal either.

They're not reinventing the wheel there, which can sometimes be desirable, depending upon what you're looking for.

This is how I see it. I've never been a big fan. It's a beautiful restaurant with a great balcony, but that's it. Living in New Orleans, this is a place I would never choose with so many other great restaurants.

My meals have always been more than just decent. I believe it's a well above average restaurant, food quality is excellent. I agree that it's not going to blow your socks off. It's not that type of eclectic restaurant. It's a great deal for a great meal for what the restaurant is. I enjoy it.
