Leaving there Friday to go skiing for 8 days.

I know the F&D board will have some good recommendations for places to eat and drink. Open to pretty much anything. Any good local craft brews to try while I'm there?

Thanks in advance.

Wasabi in the mall on Main for sushi. Small and quiet, but great quality.

Agreed. Very quaint. Been there a few times as it's just down the road from where we stay.
Always have friendly service too.

Mi Casa just up the hill is decent Tex Mex and has a lively atmosphere.

Decent cafe for breakfast right behind it too.
Very hipsterific.
ETA: Cool River coffee house.

We've also enjoyed Ember for a little more upscale place.

Then go to the liquor store in the shopping center with the Kroger or whatever and get some Avery Great Divide etc.

Mi Casa
Do it one night. Good food and fun.

There's a place on Main..."Downstairs ...something or other..."...you can't miss it. Good burgers and bar food with a huge beer selection...very casual. Do it one night...plan on a wait at prime time.

Good pizza up the hill a street or two at Fatty's, I think.

Go to Mi Casa right after leaving the mountain. They have a great happy hour (3-6 maybe) with awesome $1 tacos and drink specials.

Good call. That liquor store has an awesome selection of Colorado beers.
DO NOT buy beer at a grocery store in CO. The abv is limited to 3 or 3.5%

Eta- the grocery store in that shopping center is called something else but is owned by Kroger

breckenridge brewery man, there's also a brewery in frisco 10 minutes down the road. I also really liked frisco, its got a cool little strip of restaurants and bars. Dillon Dam brewery in Dillon is my favorite brewery in summit county though. I used to live in Breck so I have a few recommendations granted the food there isn't even close to what we have in the south. Make sure that you hit up peak 10 constantly, that was the best part of the mountain for me.

1. Dugan's Deli - Make sure you that you go here. it is in a basement off of third st. I think. The guys that run it are UGA grads and make a really badass sandwich. It was also the only place in Colorado I found that had crystal hot sauce

2. Empire Burger - Still one of my favorite gourmet burger places I've ever tried.

3. Mi Casa - Good for Mexican but not your average mexican if you catch my drift.

4. Daylight Doughnuts - breakfast most likely

5. Blue Moose - for breakfast

6. Briar Rose Restaurant - shmancy pants restaurant

7. Blue River Bistro - best place for something shmancy

8. Motherloaded tavern - go here if you want bar food, good beer, and good MILFS

9. Rasta Pasta

There are also a lot of good bars in breck that I liked to go to like : park avenue pub- local spot, ollies pub, Absinthe bar was awesome, the historic brown hotel- you have to go here, cecilias if you want to attempt to hook up with a local chick (good luck), jake's dive bar- used to love going here after work all the time and trying to hit on the one chick there , the dredge- pretty cool bar thats actually a boat in a frozen pond. pretty neat. Hope you have a great time in breck, its a great ski town. most importantly, dont get hurt

Cecilia's is a great place to go out.

Stay away from Whales Tale (I thinks that's what it's called)

Breckenridge brewery has some fantastic beers
