I was wondering if at this point in his college playing days at N.C. State-entering his 3rd year there, if Phillip Rivers had already established himself as the starter?
Even though Stephen is taller, at this point it does not appear he is on target to be the same caliber of QB as Phillip.
It looks like Rettig & Jennings are maybe even Bolden could push him for the back-up role behind Mett for the 2013 season.

He started 51 straight games, broke many ACC records, and led NC State to 4 straight bowl games. I don't think anyone ever expected Stephen to have a better collegiate career than his brother.

I was waiting for someone to finally mention BOLDEN. I wouldn't be at all suprised if he came out of spring ball as the #2 QB. He could be the backup this year and then be a one year starter in '14.
The two true freshmen for '13 could learn the system this year. Fight it out to be Bolden's backup for '14 and then be inline to be a three year starter in '15.
