Colorado Magazine ban of 15 rounds passes through committee 7-4

Here is the Facebook post from Magpul, which is a Colorado-based company:
"Looks like the best efforts of a lot of people and organizations went unheard. HB1224 was passed out of committee by 7-4 vote. Thanks for your support today. We are not finished. We will post our next moves and where to focus efforts tomorrow."
Bring Magpul to the south and call it done.
Colorado is slowly becoming Commierado...
EDIT: This is not law passage yet but is a bad sign of things to come for CO.

Might want to edit title. It just got out of committee, long way from being law.

Misread Magpul's post.
Thanks for the heads up. Edited.

They'll probably still be able to make them don't you think? Like jack daniels making whiskey in a dry county.

Just curious, but does anybody know why all the traditional gun manufacturing companies like Remington, Marlin, Weatherby, and Sig US are located in the most unfriendly gun states such as New York, Connecticut, California, and New Hampshire respectively?

Well when these companies started waaaay back in the day all the industry was in the northeast with the big cities and ports, that could bring in supplies. While all the agriculture was in the south.

And also remember that the original colonies started off on the eastern coast. That's why so many of them are concentrated up there. They have literally been in the same spot for centuries.
A lot of those small towns have depended on the factories for jobs and the economy has depended on the money the factories bring in. Hopefully we can get some of those factories down south without laying off a bunch of people. I bet if they ran a petition to pay for the employees' travel and moving expenses that they would get every single nickel and dime they needed.
I would love to have Remington or Smith and Wesson move down south. Besides just enjoying a factory tour, how sweet would it be to buy a gun directly off the manufacturing line?
And Chessie, I'm sure that's what would happen. All the pmags would most likely have to be sent out of the state.

It's ok though, weed is legal there. Nobody wants to shoot anyone up there anyway.

They've been there since the NE was the only place you could have a manufacturing operation.
I'd gladly take a few along the river down here.

Magpul is openly talking about leaving Colorado if this passes.

As they should. I wish more companies would do this. Those smug bastards in the northeast would just say good riddance and wouldn't care about the loss of jobs and industry.

Either or, OR when that elio plant dies, they could lease space there at GM

It is the damn dummies from California.
They started coming in the 70s because they screwed CA up so bad and it has only gotten worse with time.
Bad news is the dumb asses are repeating the failed California experiment and ruining Colorado in the process.
This above all else is why I wish Gov. Perry would quit trolling that state for businesses to come here.
I have talked to a handful of transplants from CA to TX that admit CA is screwed beyond repair and they love TX but just want to "tweak" it. I told them to go home to CA.
