I don't hate him, but his offenses have been very bad the last few years. Surely you agree with that. I am happy he has decided to make a change.
I agree on the offense. But I trust him. Others don't.

Hurricane's post just now on the SECesspool:

My expectations for Cam is for our offense to continue to suck. All this hire does is give us a consistent play caller and move Stud back to OL coach. The offense will still consist of running against 11 man fronts.

Somebody helped him come o the realization our offense has kept us from being where Alabama is.
Good for that person.
Good for that person.

Where are all the sunshine pumpers saying nothing was wrong with the offense? They kept telling us we should just keep our mouth shut cause everything was fine. This whole scenario proves the sunshine pumpers were wrong. Les finally demoted an unqualified Studrawa. People had been pointing out the obvious for years and we had to listen to people defending Les over an inept offense. Les confirmed all the criticism was on the money.

You can bet the first time we run a dive play that gets less than 2 yards they'll be claiming he has control of the offense and is running it into the ground
Lets let this play out before we proclaim he has turned over a new leaf

So instead of choosing to be happy in the now, due to the change (which is obviously not the first on that side of the ball), you revert back to complaining about the past? frick you're pathetic.

The inept offense won us the SEC in 2011 and got us to the NC game. One year removed, we hired a new OC. I'm not sure you can move any faster than this.

Nothing will shut up the Sabanistas and LesHaters short of his head on a platter.

quote:LE. You don't think this has a different vibe? The execution of the offense is pretty bad. I am going out on a limb, but I think bama has the blueprint. I think our offense is capable of being like that. Kragthorpe had all kinds of issues and then we were left with a 3 headed monster( stud, krag, miles). I think miles respects this man enough to let him do his job.
we heard the same shite when he hired kragthorpe ill believe it when i see it
You're not excited?

You do realize Krahs got sick right?

LSU recruits itself.
The players find ways to win inspite of the coaches.
We could easily find a coach better than Les.
Blah blah blah.
It will never stop, some people just live to hate Miles.

He cant be a better coach. Left UL a dump, quit on the falcons, fricked arkansas. Pretty much tells me he would never have been coach here long if he was hired. He may run a good offense, but hes not a better head coach than miles.
We couldnt change after 11. It was a great season and i bet they werent going to make a new hire just fir the hellof it. He rode it one more year and made the change. It didnt last long and was something they had to do due to unforseen circumstances rt before the season.

It's not that Les won't change. The problem is that he is a good and decent man who is very loyal to those around him and waits 1 or 2 years too long to make the needed change.

I can pump sunshine with the best, probably cause when LSU football is 85-21, 49-19 there be a lot of sunshine for me to bask in, but I can only recall 1 or 2 guys saying the O wasn't a problem.

Tell me you are aware that LSU has had 3 OC, if Cam is hired, since the 2010 season.
Yeah boy, LSU wasn't aware of a problem with the passing game.
It's amusing that some really think they can see what the most successful staff in LSU history can't see.

We had a pretend offense. Really, you have finished top 10 in recruiting for almost a consecutive decade, and you can't field a better offense? I'd love to see development from any of those 4 and 5 star WR's, TE's, and QB's.
I'll agree to being happy he made a change, but I have my reservations about Cam "my way or the highway Mike Martz Stubborn Ego" Cameron.
I don't think he should stop there. Bring in a guy known for developing WR's and TE's. And another OL coach who knows how to teach pass protection. Hell, you can keep the current OL coach and make him the running game coordinator because that's basically what he is.
Les Miles is much like Dale Brown-- great at recruiting, great at motivating, but only great at being a head coach when he is surrounded with a great staff-- specifically coordinators.
Chavis helped return the defense to a dominant force. Now he just needs an innovative offensive coordinator who will step on his dick and kick it out the way so the offense can actually learn wtf the vertical pass is.

Well he isn't changing much. He's just hiring the best person possible to implement his scheme.
Well in reality, since y'all love that word so much, the scheme doesn't need too much changing. The development of our offensive players need to be changed.
We just brought in an A1 QB developer. Its okay, you can Be happy about it. Nobody is going to call you a pumper for doing so.
