Someone told me today that he plays baseball as well as football and that he has a chance to be drafted after his senior year. Is this true? If so, I'm hoping he passes up that opportunity to play football for the purple and gold!

Heard he has completely given up baseball. Pretty sure there was a thread on here earlier where someone stated that.

I heard he gave it up too. I was waiting to see. He is a winner and a hell of a player. Not many baseball players have his athleticism. He will compete on a professional level in football with guys like Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson. The athletes in professional football are insanely good. I would have liked to see him leave the door open for baseball another couple of years. Football is also a violent sport. He is a good enough athlete to come back to it later if he wanted to.

Any chance that if Trey Quinn picks LSU, he plays baseball also?   (Posted on 1/31/13 at 7:08 p.m.)

He should enjoy baseball while he is still young. It won't take that much away from football. But it's his life

Do you guys realize how many time Verne Lundquist will tell us that Trey Quinn pitched in the Little League World Series?

Herman Johnson was the biggest baby ever born in La.
Greg McElroy hasn't lost a game since Jr. High.

Don't kid yourself. It'll hurt some. He may be the best defensive centerfielder in the history of that school. That's saying something right there too.
