Has anyone mentioned The Cheesecake Factory yet? One of my favorites.

Do you consider Ruth casual or did you not read the title?

Worst is Golden Corral. Not only is the food horrendous but in the one experience I've had, I imagine it would be similar to eating in a mental institution.. I guess you do HAVE to be crazy to eat there.

True story. I went to eat there about two years ago because that's where some friends wanted to eat for lunch. Their idea of cooking a hamburger is soaking it in worcestershire sauce for several days and then burning the shite out of it.

I dind't see the casual part, although I have been in there with jeans, tennis shoes and a saints shirt after a game. More dressy casual than anything.

Lots of Carrabas in here. Idk.. I've been so turned off to the place the last couple times I went. Admittedly, it was more the fault of surrounding patrons than the food.
I really like me some Bonefish. Never actually had an entree there. At least once a month, we'll go sit at the bar and have their exceptional steamed mussels, dip our bread in it, and have drinks. You get full and buzzed for less than $20

J Alexander's
and their club is pretty bad arse. It's a club, not like they're hard to mess up but this one was particularly good. I like their mini fries too

I think you find something acceptable at most chains. That being said, the only ones I can think of at which I've eaten in the past 10 years or so are Outback and I've been to Cracker Barrel for breakfast some time in the past 4 years or so. I went to P F Changs about 4 or 5 years ago, I believe.
I like the pork tenderloin at Outback. It's a nice meal. Nothing spectacular, but a nice meal. I like breakfast at Cracker Barrel. It's good. I had apps at P F Changs and enjoyed all of them. Better than some local places I've been to.
When I used to go to Chili's, I always got the skillet queso. Loved it for what it was. I don't think the cheese was Velveeta. Looked more like a Mexican melting cheese to me.
I'd throw Copeland's in the mix of national chains and, again, it just depends on what you get there. I've eaten there in the last year. Some of it was good and some not so much.
I haven't been to an Olive Garden but one time. You can get a decent salad and some sort of pasta that's fine, I'm sure. Not out of this world but good.
Oh, I went to that Longbranch or Longhorn steak place this past year. I can't even think of the name of it, but it was very good for a chain. There was a shrimp app that was good and the steak was good. Not Ruth's Chris, but good.

Longhorn. best steaks of all the steakhouse chains, IMO. (outside of Ruth's).
