Just a gold hook.

No weight, stopper, bait, or anything. Just a little gold hook.

I caught a bullfrog on a spinnerbait one time

Doesn't directly answer your question just thought it was semi relevant

it doesn't really count as unusual, but as a kid I used to destroy bream beds with baby frogs caught on the bank

no weight, so the poor bastard would get about three kicks in before a bluegill would inhale him

I just had to get that off my chest

Someone gave me one of those Budweiser baits almost thirty years ago. Caught a bass with is and retired it. Not sure what happened to it.

Caught a catfish on soap and French fries. Theyll hit whatever they smell. I HAVE caught one on a simple plastic jig as it hit the water which makes me think I might've hit him in the head with it.

A piece of McDonald's straw with a treble hook at the end. Spanish Mackerel liked this just fine when we got in a school. Oh, and a wire leader.
