Those 2 claims are easily reconcilable. He continued to answer questions about the girlfriend because that was much much easier than admitting to the nation that he was completely duped.

Somehow, and don't ask how, this will end up getting swept under the rug with Te'o commenting on it in a very minimal way.
Te'o will be a hero in this situation and people will feel bad for him for getting hoaxed so bad.
He'll get even more exposure, get drafted in the first round and everyone will forget about this.

2. People actually following the story trying to figure out what happened. Right now its almost 100% certain that Ronniah is a crazy calculated scammer who went to unbelievable lengths to fuk with Te'o.

It's a good comparison because the story that teo is a victim is the most convoluted and nonsensical theory I've ever heard about anything

I just find it funny people are so shocked about "catfish". There are alot of moms out there who are too lazy to see what their kids are doing online. IE teen girl stalkashly posts updates about Bieber Under an alter on Twitter.

No, it is not. All we have is the word from a woman who refused to be named or recorded who claims to have received a confession from a tearful Tuiasosopo. At this point...I don't think we should believe ANYONE until Te'o or Tuiasosopo come forward with their version of events.

Basically just called out ESPN for reporting on a third-connected source (Roninah told woman who told ESPN reporter)

i agree 50%. Im not sure I will believe Te'o now. No matter what he says.
The whole, "We have a girl who said it was Tuiasosopo but does not want to be named BS is just that. They are doing everything they can to cover this up and lighted the pain for Te's
He will never dismiss all his involvement in a lot of people eyes. There are just too many lies out there.
Just own up to it and move on. Its his best move
