Musicians/bands you are embarrassed to have once liked/hated

I wasn't into these guys at first and now I realize I'm an idiot:
Rage Against the Machine. If Paul Ryan can set their politics aside, I can too.
Alice in Chains. Very popular in college while I was busy listening to Country music.
I used to like these guys and now I realize I'm an idiot:
Nirvana. I was in HS and my parents and teachers HATED them. That was all the reason I needed.
Creed. Their first stuff was OK, but not really.

I'm still embarrassed by my love of Jimmy Buffett.

I hated Marcy Playground because of "Sex and Candy", but then a couple of years ago, I heard "Poppies" and begin to love all of their albums.
I really liked Incubus, especially the album, "Make Yourself". Can't listen to that album anymore. I hate Brandon Boyd's lyrics now.

I was a Michael Jackson nut. My parents bought me tickets to his Victory Tour. I was 8 years old.

I was 18 years in 1992, the year Nevermind came out. I thought they were really great. IMO their music really hasn't stood the test of time. I think their Unplugged album is the best thing they did. They aren't bad, just not that good. I feel the same way about The Doors.

Sum 41 and Limp Bizkit.
Don't laugh, all of you were in high school too.

I'm not embarrassed by anything I listen to. I like Taylor Swift, Abba, ICP, and a bunch of stupid pop songs. I don't give a frick.

+1
Growing out of them is fine, but come the frick on you're talking about a really important and significant band.

I'm not embarrassed by anything. I will still rock out to Men Without Hats. I believe that one should be safe while dancing.

quote:Ha ha. Possibly my two least favorite bands. Unlistenable noise to me.
Rage Against the Machine. If Paul Ryan can set their politics aside, I can too.
Alice in Chains. Very popular in college while I was busy listening to Country music.
Mine would be Journey. I bought at least 3 cassettes back then. No idea what I was thinking.
Air Supply. Yes, I know.

this
why would I be? Its usually fun to say I used to be into XYZ.
Hell, I love throwing out that NKOTB and Tiffany was my first concert. People usually bug out over that.

How about everything I listened to from ages 12-20? The late 90's through the mid 00's was an awful time for music.
