I hate the new unis
if we are gonna change lets just throw out all our tradition and go with some oregon type unis

Uniforms and helmets of the 1960's and 70-71 were simple but classy. Yes, even with numbers on helmets and without names on back. A by-gone era, I know. This game pictured is from 1970. Former Mac assistant Bill Beall was the Baylor head coach.

This is the traditional way they look. Check some pictures of LSU from more than just a few years ago. I hate those stupid little shoulder boards they have been using lately.
Didn't see the Chicken Bowl, so can't say if Nike has found a way to make a jersey with longer shoulder stripes that is "High Tech." Can't comment on the numerals either, but there is no reason I can think of to change from the traditional full block numeral font that have been on LSU jerseys since at least the 60's.

I think number 22 in the pic earlier was Allen Shorey...I think he passed not to long ago...You guys have it made; try to tackle someone with tear away jerseys of the early late 60's early 70's....

The numbers look terrible. Absolutely horrific. I watched that game with like 30 non-LSU fans and just about every one of them commented how bad the #'s looked.
