Do not like. Carolina wasn't exactly tearing up the league.

I see a lot of people have no clue. Guy is a very good offensive coach. Has interviewed for and turned down HC jobs in the past.
And he's bringing Norv with him. It's a good hire.

Really not a good hire. Chud's offense sucked noodles this season when the games still mattered even with a decent amount of talent.
ETA: Piss poor offensive line, but good talent at RB, WR, TE, and QB.

I just don't get it. We were interviewing Zimmer and Wisenhunt, and then poof.... Terrible hire
ETA: oline is not piss poor. Thomas is a hall of famer, Mack is a pro bowler, and Schwartz had a very nice rookie season. The guard play is awful.

Whisenhunt would have been a terrible hire as well. He's done nothing without Kurt Warner. The Browns should have hired Zimmer. He's done a great job turning around the Bengals defense. Their defense was horrendous before he got there and now it's one of the best units in the NFL. It also speaks volumes that Parcells kept him around to be his defensive coordinator even though he never had any previous experience running a 3-4 defense before. The man's a great coach. It's puzzling how he keeps getting passed over for lesser coaches.

There were games where the defensive front might as well have pitched tents in the backfield. They didn't play well this year until the very end of the year.

I think Trey is talking about Cleveland's OL and Ross is talking about Carolina's OL. Confusing.
