I don't recall ever seeing a mention of the place on here. The wife is begging to go because she has heard good things from her co-workers. The main thing she would desire is fried catfish, although I know there may be better places to go for that. The menu certainly looks large enough. Anyone have a review or suggestions?

I can see it from my house, food is decent but not great. I prefer Hill Top (also on the Diversion), especially for fried food or Val's which is down Hwy 22 a couple of miles but has not reopened from the flood though it should be soon...

My wife loves it but I don't particularly care for it. It's average seafood. Not worth the drive to me.

Last time I went I got the Ribeye. It was very good. Wife got fried shrimp. They were good, not great.

Crawfish Bisque, my friend!
Steaks are good, fried food doesn't seperate itself from anyone else.

I've always loved the food every time I've been. I usually get the crawfish ravioli. Its pretty damn good.

It's fried food, taste like fried food. I'm told hilltop is better, when I went it all tasted the same.

Diversion doesn't flood.

Port Vincent is getting some back water as of lunch time. Gonna get interesting if it doesn't stop raining.

This is from Issac... But you are correct, homes don't flood...

I went 7 years ago. It was pretty good, but probably would've had just as good a meal at Chimes.

The road has been paved since we have lived down here (12 years) but the parking lot is not...

I agree with this.... The other dishes besides fried seafood are pretty good. While the fried seafood is good, it's not blowing anything else out of the water. Like mentioned, you can find other options nearby for slightly better fried dishes.

I really like the steaks.

Crawfish Beignets are good for an appetizer.

If you're just looking for fried seafood go to Hilltop. Kevin's is 'nicer' but their fried seafood is decent, nothing special about it but the steak is surprisingly good.

And damn Val's for taking this long to reopen. That restaurant has flooded at least 10 times in my lifetime. They should be pros at it now.
