I have been blown away by how athletic this guy is..what is he, like 230, and a home run threat on every run? We have an elite prospect at RB next year boys(maybe in a less crowded backfield)...Glad our O-line should be good too

We will still have too many backs next year. We spread the ball around too much.

He could win if we fed it to him 25-30 times but we split backs (which is good because they last longer)

There is no way an offensive player from LSU will win the heisman in our scheme. He won't get enough carries for one thing. He was ripping Clemson's arse and he only carried the ball what 12 times?

Well..at least on paper they look good..Faulk, Lael and Trai should be road graters and Fenaika helps as a backup

He is the Cecil Collins reincarnated when he runs the ball.

Miles' RB quota system will hinder his chances.

Every player in college football begins their heisman campaign next year...

Our offense will not produce a Heisman candidate. Fact.

Look.... I am a huge Hill fan. Lets take a look at the last 2 freshman "Heisman Candidates" in the past decade. Justin Vincent and Kenny Hilliard. Both of these were going to come out and win a Heisman their sophomore year remember? Hilliard has gotten close to no big game touches and when he does it is a predictable run up the middle. Vincent struggled for the rest of his career. I am huge fans of both guys, but half the reason these guys don't pan out is stupid comments like this posting them on a pedestal after one year. Let the kid have a chance to meet his own expectations much less the unrealistic fans.

To me Hill is the stronger and faster back--that's how i differentiate Jeremy and Kenny. JMO though
oh come on..i too am aware that LSU will probably never have an offensive heisman winner as long as Miles is coach, I just am reverberating how elite of a prospect the guy is and am elated to have him in P & G

LOL, Les forgot about him in the 4th quarter against Clemson when he was pretty much the lone bright spot on O. Keep dreaming.

Every year someone gets duped into thinking we will have an offensive heisman candidate. We will always be much more likely to have a defensive one. Just accept it.

Most people didn't catch my sarcasm..im aware of the hilliard, TM7, pp7 heisman talks of the past, i guess i was just thinking that this guy is potentially heisman material

This made me pull my hair out too..go to the air when the guy who scored our touchdowns sits the bench...

People say this as if it's meaningful or relates to Miles in some way. LSU hasn't had REAL potential Heisman winner on offense since Charlie Mac, and that was Charles Alexander. Neither Hodson, nor Hilliard, nor Faulk, nor even Reed were ever in the hunt. Russell could have been in the conversation based on the way we closed out 2006 had he come back in 2007, but we'll never know how that would have turned out.
While I think it's true that given our offensive woes we're unlikely to produce any player that puts up gaudy enough stats to warrant consideration, let's not pretend LSU had been churning our Heisman hopefuls only to be squashed once Miles got here. That just isn't so.
