I saw an article on this recently. Thinking about getting involved. Has anyone ever done this?

it's a lot of fun. There are a good amount of guys on this board that do it. You'll have to find the right kayak for your needs (skinny = fast and unstable. wide = slow and stable).
In the spring, outdoor companies in nola/br/laffy will host demo days where you can try them all out. I'd advise doning this even if you don't buy a boat from them just so you can get an idea of what you want.
oh, and team ascend bout to be up in this biatch...

It's those things you used to catch in your kayak before you gave it away...

My barber in Texas does this and loves it. However, he said that rigging a canopy for some shade made a huge difference.

My favorite hobby besides sex.
When you hook into a 40 incher they pull you around for a little while. Good times

Redfish of course. I like my women like I like my pizza crust. Tan and thin

Has anyone ever done this?
Do you drive a Prius with a ki rack?
Do you use apple or some fruit flavored smokeless tobaccy?
Do you wear sandals with socks?
Do you shoot a 243?
If you answered yes to at least 2 of these then yes, you need to think more about:

for the long trips in the marsh before daylight as a chartplotter. works the same for trips in the day. the depthfinder for obvious reasons. i like to fish 7-10' channels when the water is cold. ive found specs seem to like that depth. i just decided to get the all in one unit.
