Fourchon Fishing Report

Posted by LSUEngineEar on 3/18/26 at 3:50 pm
Picked up a few trout in the weeks prior to the cold snap in the bays South of Catfish Lake, Lake Raccourci, Marsh South of Point au Chien. The trout were full of eggs. Still picking up a lot of undersized. Looks like the move South is starting. Anyone have any luck in the Fourchon area?
I've seen some comments online that say the 100 GB Roam plan only works 12 nautical miles offshore. Is this correct that the unlimited plan is required for more than 12 NM?
Walk the She Pup at dawn?

If you're launching at Fourchon hit the barges first light. Skim Elmer's for birds if the barges don't produce.

The pipeline at the beach is always worth a shot and may have some room on a Thursday.

I'll second the 4-bayous comment and GT beaches. Water has been a little better over there.

Keep moving. If they aren't there, they aren't there.

Lower Bowl NEZ Sec 211 row 20. Reply with contact info. $350 for the pair.
Recently went through this. My vet quoted $1000. Called Siegen Lane Vet - he did it for $270. Frequent Greenies are supposed to help once cleaning is done.
ME - Workhorse of Engineering world. In my line of work they will start out less than ChemE or EE but can have many, many career paths.

EE - Start out higher (higher demand). Have to LOVE it. A sociable EE can have an exceptional career.

ChemE - Highest starting pay (my industry). I've often thought if I were to do it again I may pursue this. Higher initial pay - Large pay future opportunities.

Cannot speak for PetE, but have a lot of friends who wouldn't do it again for flexibility reasons.
K. Grats, baw.

Since everyone may not be as financially savvy and successful as an OT baller like yourself, I'd be willing to bet the advice would be great for a portion of young people today.

But, as you mentioned, I'm obviously mentally handicapped and am destined to catch the poor.
