Instead of a BOOK,why not go directly to ALEVA and the Chancellor & top Officials, that could use the information to either fix the problems or problem (MILES) and move forward. If the threats are there by current & former players they need to go to Miles BOSS and expose the crap.

Interesting. Being that I've criticized him on here today. But you seem to know what I'm thinking better than me so have at it.

I can't wait for Chris Davenport's book. Fingers crossed Tyler Love will write a book to "bring down" Alabama.

Miles and staff put players in the NFL. Players put players in the NFL idiot because of their skills, now the coaches can help them with advice and shite like that, but ultimately a player is going to play in the NFL because of his talent wheteher he went to LSU or the Itwamba HS like Joe Horn.

Joe Horn went to Itawamba Community College.

he didn't play his senior year at Douglas Byrd before graduating in 1991 because he was held back in elementary school. How he never played a down of Division I college football because he couldn't meet the eligibility requirements.

Once a practice-squad player in the Canadian Football League

The Division I college football coaches came calling. South Carolina, North Carolina, Clemson and Georgia all wanted his services.

But when Horn didn't get the NCAA-required 700 on the SAT, they all backed off. Stuck on the sidelines keeping stats his senior year because he was too old to be eligible, he graduated in 1991 with limited options. So he disappeared to Itawamba Community College, a tiny school located near Tupelo, Miss., to chase his dream of playing major college football.

Shep should have transfered to a smaller school. I remember his first game. He was no way ready for sec. Miles takes a lot of flack about shep but he just didn't exactly mesh well in a power running game

Shepard will write his book after he is broke in about 4.2 years.
The NFL is the truth.

Fixed it:

How can I catch a pass if I only play defense on special teams?

This is like Ace Ventura reciting Ray Finkle's biography. Lol thanks for that!

And he was given a chance....

I'm not sure why you all keep saying he was screwed over

He just wasn't good enough

I said it in a different thread...I'm not a big fan of Les Miles but this RS bullshite is not on Miles. RS was given a chance to play QB and even he knew it wouldn't work out after he got on campus and started working with the QB's. It was HIS decision to change positions. It's bad enough when the 2nd string QB is the favorite player but this is flat out ridiculous when it comes to RS. He is not the first High School All American that didn't do much at the College level and he won't be the last. From everything I know about him, he is a great guy and I wish him the best. It's not his fault that the fans expected more, I'm sure he gave it his all.

I don't see Shep writing something that would hurt LSU. And, trust me, wanting to publish and actually publishing a book are two different things.

Who, exactly, is this little guy who gets (and apparently thinks he deserves) so much attention for doing nothing more than roaming the sidelines for four years?

Agree, but he won't play 4.2 years in the NFL. I'd be shocked if he's on an opening day active roster.

"But... he's a great athlete... and he's so fast..." Sure, the NFL has NEVER seen anyone like this guy.

The one thing he does have that is "NFL ready" is his Twitter skills. He can create a lot of buzz while sitting on the bench.

Should/would have been a great college QB at a different school, which he might have been if Miles hadnt lied to get him here.

So how do you know he was lied to?

Deduction.
1. Shep made it clear he wanted to play QB.
2. The staff evaluated him, presumably including his ability to throw a college ball.
3. Miles offered him as a QB.

Given that they evaluated him, I assume they knew before signing day that he would never play QB for LSU b/c he was physically incapable.

He was never as good in college as HS and playing QB wouldn't have changed that.

I just fell out of my chair in disbelief. A college coach lied during the recruiting process. I'm completely shocked. Shocked.
