Didn't the NFL play 12 game seasons at that time?

Couple of post season wins to get to 14 games.

82 yards today moves Ridley into 2nd place on this list with 1,345 yds.
If Pats make it to Super Bowl, he has a chance to move into 1st place.

If Dalton Hillard played on the 90s Cowboys teams he would have put up more yard than ES, if he stayed healthy. I would have loved to seen what he could have done on a winning team.

Davis was a beast but injuries ended his career
Faulk never really got a chance to be a feature back
Hester is at best a third down back with potential
Scott never given a chance
Toefield, rondell, vincent what can be said.

Mealey is interesting, I don't remember the specifics but an injury should have moved him up to starter at Green Bay, then he was released.

Davis looked like he was going to have a great career until the injuries.

36. Steve Van Buren 70.6 ypg (83 games)
54. Jim Taylor 65.1 ypg (132 games)
84. Joseph Addai 57.1 ypg (78 games)
108.Stevan Ridley 53.3 ypg (32 games)
239.Dalton Hilliard 38.6 ypg (108 games)
246.Garry James 37.6 ypg (40 games)

a little off-topic ... but Joe Addai (and even the other RB who's name escapes me) deserved the Super Bowl MVP more than Manning did in that one boring SB between the Colts and Bears.

He plays golf at Pelican Point. My dad is a huge Green Bay fan and plays out there with him.

Postseason stats don't count...

Steve Van Buren had a couple of 1100-1200 yd. years when they only played about 12 games.

I remember Mealy getting into a game for Green Bay and having some nice carries, but then suffered a broken jaw IIRC. I'll have to look it up.

That's the best we've had in the NFL after all these years?
