It's easier to blame video games and guns than it is to take responsibility for our own children. In today's America, it's a blame game...it's never anyone's fault.

Video games have become HUGE in the last few years, it's a hard industry to take on, the only hope IMO it targeting specific devs. Taking on Halo, COD, and BF is a large undertaking.

This really irks me.
And I'm not even big into video games any more. There has been crazy people long before any video games.
It does not make you want to go out and harm people whatsoever. If anything it keeps kids actually out of trouble.

I hate this war on video games some people take. That being said the only thing I think they can accomplish is maybe enforcing the ratings a bit better trying to keep little kids from access to violent games or maybe even the advertising side of things. By no means am I a legal expert though.

It should 100% be about parenting...they could put a 20 word warning on the box of a COD game but some parent is going to buy it for their 10 year old because they don't want to deal with the little shite crying and whining. Video games are no more responsible for the issues with society than guns or money...it's all about personal responsibility which is the main thing as a society we are losing.

But you won't see that headline on Dateline. It's not PROVOCATIVE.

I DVR'd it and just watched it. That was a very evenly discussed piece. I am fine with the discussion of this as long as there are both points of view. Most logical people with a brain will come to the realization that games didnt do this, it is a mental health issue.

Which was caused by the games, right?
