Noveske.

What's different from the G1 besides the flared magwell and integrated trigger guard?

Billet rather than forged and also comes with a tension screw. It’s also anodized then coated in black cerakote for more protection and a great finish. I know after the Gen 2 issues they brought all of their lower production in-house. The quality is dripping off of it, really top notch.

but at least when it comes to Noveske, it's worth the extra cash.

I have one of their complete gen III guns. I enjoy it a lot. Expensive as frick setup but I like it. I have the Infidel gen III in FDE with an Aimpoint comp m5 in scalarworks mount, geiselle SD-E, Elzetta Charlie in a Noveske light mount, and arsenal democracy safety and ambi mag release.

what issues? only issue I've had with my Gen 2s is the incompatibility with Gen3 PMAGs, which isn't a huge deal. The integrated trigger guard and magwell are both robust and beautiful.

I'm a Noveske fan, but their prices have become absurd.

I’ve read there were a bunch of quality control issues with the Gen 2 in terms of finish quality.

This was largely a Magpul issue and not unique to Noveske. I have some extended arm mag catches (about 30 thou longer) that will likely sort this out for your lower if the issue you are having with the Gen 3 PMags is unreliable bolt hold open after the last shot. Text me if your interested.

Yeah, you can get a complete Colt lower for less than a stripped Noveske G3.

I just use D&H mags with Magpul followers (they also make mags for BCM). PSA will have them 10 for $80 with free shipping. I bought a bunch right before Sandy Hook and ended up selling most of them for at least $30 a pop.

I bought the Noveske QCB 10.5” for one of my older SBR’s to replace an older sabre defense barrel. My 11 yr old son was hitting a 10” gong at 300 yds with it last weekend. Some folks think it’s over paying but in some cases you get what you pay for.

I believe it based on the lowers alone. If the barrel/upper is even close it’s probably a tack driver at that distance. What optic was he using? I’ve been running an EOTech EXPS 3-2 with a G33 magnifier and have been spot on at 100 yds.
