Top 5 Favorite Led Zeppelin tunes

5. Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You -
Led Zeppelin 1 - beautiful blend of Robert Plant singing some soulful blues and Jimmy Page's acoustic melodies (with some solid jams thrown in on the breaks). The finish sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.
4. Tangerine - Led Zeppelin 3 - great acoustic 12 string work by Page. Beautiful song.
3. When The Levee Breaks - Untitled 4th Album (ZOSO) - Ann & Nancy Wilson have called this the sexiest Led Zep song ever. IMHO, it's simply the greatest blues jam ever.
Solidly bridges the gap between blues and hard rock.
2. Nobody's Fault But Mine - Presence - a take on Robert Johnson's "Hellhound on My Trail", Plant's mournful vocals seem to lament the possible loss of his very soul. Page's guitar effects make this one a veritable audio laser-light show.
And finally...
#1. In The Evening - In Through The Out Door - hardest of all hard rock jams, this song showed that even though he was smacked out most of the time and Robert Plant/John Paul Jones were emerging more as musical presences, this was STILL Jimmy Page's band. The guitar riffs are repetitive (as were many of Page's riffs), but mesmerizing and innovative. And the bridge, where everything just comes crashing down (sounds like Bonham picked up his drum kit and threw it across the studio) is one of the greatest ever.
My thoughts. I welcome yours.

Good choices.
Over the Hills & Houses of the Holy would probably make my second 5.

In no order:
Since I've Been Loving You
I Can't Quit You Babe
The Rain Song
Ten Years Gone
Thank You
Love this song, but I've always thought the intro seems like a precursor to hair metal

1. Bring it on Home - Greatest Blues-Rock song ever written IMO
2. Your Time is Gonna Come - Ultimate FU to any ex
3. I Can't Quit You Baby - Page's guitar working so so well with Plant's vocals. Only better example would be You Shook me
4. Ramble On - What's not to love?
5. Hey Hey What Can I Do? / What is and What Should Never Be - Both have that little something extra that always spoke to me, I can identify with plenty of Plant's lyrics but these two are the epitome of that. Accordingly I couldn't just put one.

Ten years gone
Down by the Seaside
Kashmir
Song Remains the Same
The Lemon Song
However in 20 minutes this could change again. Also if live stuff were included some of their Whole Lotta Love medleys are beyond awesome.

I am definitely a Zep addict so it is really true for me. The live boots are really my most listened stuff at this point.

This thread prompted me to put my zeppelin collection on shuffle and I keep thinking "this should have DEFINITELY been on the list!" "How could I have forgotten about this song?!" And finally, "FIVE?! How could they honestly expect me to only pick FIVE! That's absurd!"
I think I have a problem.
