With all due respect, who cares? These games are not about the fans, they're about the players.
If its not the Championship game, I personally don't care what game it is. We'll get em next year!

Until the fans hold themselves to the same standards they hold the coaches and players too, they will be FOREVER disappointed. If you don't give 100% every outing, don't expect it back. If you aren't perfect, you can't demand perfection.

I agree. We are better than this as LSU fans. Or at least we were when I was an undergrad. We bitch too much. I'm excited to spend NYE in ATL. It was fun last time.

Not sure if I understand the 2nd statement right, but if it's championship or bust, then that's not being a fan (-anatic), that's being a frontrunner.
For myself, I want to win every single year, but if we don't get in the title game, then LSU vs North Texas in the Hiccup Bowl would be bigger to me than Alabama-Notre Dame, cuz I would get to watch my Tigers one more time

Remember when we played Miami in 2005 at the peach? We were stoked at the matchup (as Clemson likely will be). Miami fans said they didn't care since it wasn't the title game... let's not be like that.
they may have beaten the shite out of miami then, but i assure you there were more than a few disappointed people at the bowl selection.

I'm only disappointed with the game due to the time that it is played. I generally enjoy the Peach bowl. It just kinda sucks because I wont be able to watch it. the bowl games are pathetic this year...some of the worst matchups i have ever seen. I would much rather play Clemson in the Peach than play NIU in the Orange or play Nebraska or even Wisconsin - 7-5- are you kidding me - in the rose bowl - thats just ridiculous. We got a really good matchup and its the only bowl game that night. Not on new years day when there are 10 other games. I remember when we were excited to get into the peach bowl a few years ago when we pummeled Ga. Tech in the 2nd half behind Rohan Davey...we took over that damn Dome ! Lets do it again new years eve - LSU football is special no matter who we play or where we play or when we play. Its LSU Fightin tiger football dammit ! Bring it New years eve - i will be there loud and proud !!
