2012 Acura 2012

vs.

2012 Infiniti EX35

vs.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I've been trying to decide what new car I should get. All these cars are in the ~30k range. I'd like to get an opinion from the money board on which yall think is the best value.

Also, it doesn't have to be a 2012 model.

I have $10,000 that I can put towards a down payment, hopefully looking to get under 4% interest rate. I can put around $450 towards monthly payments as well.

Thoughts?

The wife has a 2010 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4wd and she loves that truck. It is very well built and has been 100% reliable with no problems in two years. The new models are a lot more refined than ours.

I don't know much about the other two.

Good luck.

Cherokee is clearly the best looking of the three. I am guessing the others have been features.

You actually would compare a Jeep( which is really a dodge) to Acura and Infiniti?

A dodge compared to two luxury cars that have the highest ratings

I would favor the Infiniti slightly over Acura but both are excellent vehicles

Jeeps are no longer jeeps they are dodges with a jeep emblem

You should check out a Honda Crosstour, wife just got one, loves it. Under 23k on an 2012 EX, 0.9% for 60 mo. financing. Keep your 10k.

The correct answer is to get a well cared-for 2007-ish model. Costs tons less.

JGC. Looks great, great interior, great options. I wish my wife would have liked the JGC else it'd be sitting my driveway. Went with an MDX instead.

I have an Acura and an Infiniti, and would consider the Jeep over the other two. Of the two jap models, I prefer my Infiniti.

This assumes you're looking at new, or near new.

I have an 03 Infiniti FX35. I love that thing! I like it even more than my 09 BMW 328i convertible! I didn't expect that to happen.

We are getting rid of the convertible soon and I want something new and am considering another Infiniti for sure!

The Acura gives you all the luxurious features of a midsized sports utility vehicle and handles like a Indy car.

Buy an AZN car and you'll never be disappointed by engine trouble....buy American and get to know your mechanic.

Happy Jeep customer here. '12 Grand Cherokee. I was hesitant to switch to Chrysler product but the reliability reports for '11 were much improved so I took a chance. Awesome vehicle not a single issue yet at 10k miles.

I'd say for 30k you'd get better interior trims with the Acura or infinity. but IMO the Jeep's look completely trumps those other two options.
