This year's Auburn team beating this year's Bama team?

I need evidence of crazier things happening than said scenario.

Perhaps, just maybe, Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson... but it has long been rumored that Tyson's corner purposely tanked that bout. So... what exactly is crazier than this awful Auburn team beating a Bama team?

LSU is picking cotton this year. And they'll beat the crap out of whoever is unfortunate enough to show up. They won't be playing in Atlanta until next year.

LSU fans should buy up all of the Iron Bowl tickets. Still show up in P & G, but help out their depleted fan base.

You do realize that Bama winning this game does absolutely nothing to our chances of playing in a BCS bowl right?

I remember Pitt beating WVU as 43 pt underdogs or something like that in 2007 even as the officials went in dry against them.

It can happen. Let's just win and let the chips fall.

Three-way tie:

1: Once reduced to two-teams, it will go to head-to-head
2: Combined head-to-head records: all 1-1
3: Divisional record: A&M 5-1, LSU 5-1, Bama 4-2 ... BAMA OUT - falls to two-way tie-breaker.

LSU beat A&M - LSU goes to Atlanta

Interesting....I gonna donate 180K to the AU FB program then

This. A few times in the 90s a favorable result would have sent us to the SECCG. Never happened. Won't happen this time either.

The lesson, as always, is to never put it in someone else's hands. Hold on against Bama and we're having an entirely different discussion about BCSCG scenarios with our route to the SECCG completely in our hands.

Auburn is still a talented team. If you go by rankings a case could be made that they are the 2nd most talented team in the west. They just have a really bad coach.

Any chance they can bring Cammy Cam back for one game? He should have been ineligible before, so what difference would it make now?

Auburn and Bama fans will be the first to tell you that upsets in the Iron Bowl are rare. Basically, they never happen. Better team going in pretty much always wins.

plus, as someone has said, that game never ever EVER goes the way LSU needs it to.

Now that's funny right there....

Anyway, you guys aren't giving Auburn enough credit...I mean they have the 2010 "Coach of the Year" on their sideline!!! That in itself should be enough to make the game close.
