I love Chavis, but I still can't figure out why we wnet to a prevent D on the final drive. Any coaches out there?

Not a coach, but I think we were playing to give Bama a shot at a long FG and avoid the TD.

AJ was 1 for 7 for ZERO yards in the 2nd half before the final drive. Why did we change anything?

Chavis gets paid a million a year for putting one of the best defenses in the game out there year after year after year.

No disrespect intended, but I will guess Chavis knows something none of us do. He will sometimes get something wrong but we will get it wrong basically all the time.

The only play we didn't blitz on that drive was the one that was incomplete... Don't know why people keep bringing up Prevent D... The TD was scored on with both sides blitzing..

He has done this numerous times and gives up too much yardage!!

UT fans hated this about Chavis when with the Vols...And he still hasn't learned.

Not real sure what happened - would like to hear it from him but I will say he called a hell of a game against them to that point and that kept us in it. Still love our D!
