I'm Just Glad TM7 wasn't Reinstated to the Team Only To Get Arrested Mid Season

Next year.
Or was allowed to slide back in August only to have this arrest occur the week before the Bama game while on the team.
Both scenarios would have been ten times worse for the program.
Hats off to Les for doing the right thing at the right time.

This wasn't Les' decision
His hands were tied
This came from compliance

At first glance I thought this was a haiku.
Counted the syllables, became disappointed.

either way...im glad he wasn't brought back onto the team. They made him prove his word by his actions and he failed once again. that makes like 4th or 5th time now he's fricked up for the same issue? yeah frick him

Yea I'm very happy that no current players were involved in this

Good luck convincing the majority of the Rant there's anything positive to this situation. I'm with you. Now, time to move on. We have a big game next Saturday.

On the other hand one could argue that since he is not getting paid a scholarship he was trying to make some extra bucks on the side to pay for expenses.

I don't think TM7 would have a hard time finding an honest job in BR.

So you are more worried about the publicity that it would have brought to the program but for some reason you don't care that the LSU program would have been hit with sanctions from the NCAA for bringing him back before a years suspension???

Now he can go play at Jacksonville State like Perrilloux.

Um, what NCAA rule would they have enforced?
1. It was a team violation and the team is not required to submit the results of in house drug testing to the NCAA.
2. The NCAA didn't suspend him and it wasn't a "one year suspension".
3. Miles just excused him from the team indefinitely.
Kinda like he did last year with Jordan Jefferson.

Les made the right call. This chapter needs to be closed now.

Playing Devil's advocate or whatever..maybe if he was suspended again, still around the team, he may have kept clean/cleaner or not busted this way.
Wish him the best, he not a bad guy.

Some ranter assured me earlier in another thread that it wasn't Les Miles call to dismiss and that I am an idiot for thinking Les has integrity
