. . .that we just haven't managed to get a sufficiently talented QB on our campus?

Good evening. My name is Sabi Dojo, and I am a Sunshine Pumper.
There is no denying that our offense has not lived up to expectations this season. This is the first step to recovery.
However, the kids seem to be coming together every week. They are not getting down on themselves and are starting to believe in one another.
The QB situation is very complicated. I am of the opinion that both the coaches and Mett can do a better job helping each other out, and I think the coaching staff is beginning to do that. This team is learning each week, and that is a good thing.

Still leaving your seats empty against Bama because our offense isn't to your liking?

Wouldn't mind LSU bringing in Todd Monken next season...

Where's the little biotches calling us sunshine pumpers out saying we'd go 8-4 this season at?

Obviously we can see what experienced qb play can get you as we went 13-0 until the egg was laid. Guess you guys didnt watch manziel throw 3 ints and have 51% completion percentage. This is big boy defense in the sec. I didnt see brey do shite against bama and they are way more talented at the wr position. What ab murray against usc? Get the picture? 7 games into his career. Hes ok. Maybe he will be great and have a jamarcus like year next year. Flynn stunk in his garbage time minus the peach bowl until his 5th year in the program. Jamarcus didnt come aling until year 3. Hell it took lee 5 years to stop throwing ints.

That there is nothing that my bitching or whining on a message board will improve, so I accept and enjoy the fact that we are winning, in spite of the frustrations.
I hope for staff changes in the offseason, because Miles is not leaving or ever getting fired, no matter how much you and the other whiners know.

I do not understand the question, nor the statement you're trying to make.

Mett is very talented. He is adjusting to the SEC speed and hopefully improving his pocket awareness. We see everything you do...we just don't act like an eight year-old girl who doesn't get the exact type of Barbie she wanted.

CLM has recruited well at all positions EXCEPT QB!! Jarrett Lee was supposed to be "All Everything" in TX but turned out to be below average; JJ, well....Mett, TBD...and maybe the best out of all of them decided to play baseball...geez, I dont know. Any Alan Rishers, Jeff Wickershams or Tommy Hodsons out there in La we could find/recruit? I can believe Krags cant coach em up!!

It's great that the #6 team in the land needs sunshine pumpers. It's even better that they're ridiculed for it.

Give Mettenberger some time; he'll be fine and probably one of the greats. As great as Bert Jones was at QB for us, it wasn't until November of his 2nd year of playing, alternating with Paul Lyons, that he really shined against Notre Dame and took over as starter. Mettenberger, because of playing so much, will not take that long. A breakout game against Alabama wouldn't surprise me. QB is a complicated position that is only learned through bitter experience--just ask Johnny Football.

Ahhhhhh........yet another insightful, smartass thread by the HS position coach. Vicariously criticizing an elite program from your perch atop mediocrity. Oh, how rich.
