Sorry to be that guy but I always feel people don't put much thought into a prediction score.

I see more field goals than TD's in this game. LSU will certainly be kicking 2 or 3 IMO. I see a 16-13 type game happening. Regardless of the score LSU will not have scored only TD's.

Thanks for the post. Having watched both teams play, I think we will have problems with your mobile QB. Gillislee is good but I think our DL plays the best game thus far this week. If the Tigers can keep the penalties down and the ball security is there, we win 24-17. If not, I may not come back to this board the rest of the season! to you and good luck.

This makes me feel better, but something tells me Muschamp is going to stack the box.

LSU needs to get the passing game going to win this one. It comes down to Mettenberger. If he plays well, LSU wins.

Good all around thread/post. Welcome to the Rant.

I am going to jump out there and say 26-13 LSU (a lot of field goals)...with one of our touchdowns being late in the game on a running play.

I do believe this game is a toss up. If played in Tiger stadium I would give us the edge but our play is just not consistent enough to feel good about a W in such a tough place to play as Florida. There's a good chance this game comes down to the 4th quarter with a mistake by either team dictating the result!

Stick around. The tards will show up soon to make you rethink both of these statements.

Nice post. The Tigers are capable of dominating pretty fair teams, exemplified by their performance against UW. Even in that game, however, they did not execute well in all phases of the game the way they did most of last season. First reason is they don't have the same personnel. The early departures for the draft as well as the loss of a dozen guys who were there in the spring have left chinks in the armor. Of those dozen guys, 4 starters and a total of 7 were on the two-deep. Nonetheless, they're still good enough to defeat the Gators on the road if they play anywhere near their best. I think they will focus and play their best game of the year. Result- LSU 31- UF 20.

good post... welcome to the board

ultimately, i think this may be your team's demise.. and if that's the case, it could get ugly.. there's nothing more demoralizing than knowing your opponent is going to run it right down your throat and there's nothing you can do about it... we (LSU fans) watched it happen game after game last year, but for some reason, it was always doom and gloom because we weren't throwing for 400 yards a game..

This may helps us because 13 of Miles favorite 15 plays involve the power straight ahead run.

The truth of the matter is, none of us have an educated clue as to what we can expect tomorrow. That actually excites me. It really IS like a season opener.
Preseason and leading up to Game 4, we thought of Florida, SC, and ATM as build-ups to 11/3. After Games 4 & 5-- and with Florida's quick rise (whether warranted or hype)-- no objective person can be confident of what will happen tomorrow.
