2 words sum up Oklahoma's problems the last few works. LANDRY JONES. What a pansy? I am a OU fan and this dude can't leave soon enough.

VT lost to Clemson bad in the ACC CG and then one of the BCS games in NOLA, so they lost their final two games last season. They also lost last week v. Cincy, so they have lost 3 of their last 5-7 games (don't know how mnay they have played this season).
So, they have lost 3...however, I don't think they really get that much hype, so I'm not sure if they are the answer the OP is looking for.
My other thought was OU or USC as those two schools meet the second prong - both seem to get a whole lot more "hype" as true national championship contenders (whereas VT just gets thrown in the discussion b/c they are undefeated at certain points in the season, but everyone knows its a matter of time before they lose when the finally face a tough team on the schedule). I know USC and OU have lost 3 games counting this years and last years...just don't know when they lost their games last year w/o looking at their schedules.

Not sure who the next QB is. They have a Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman waiting. I say go with the Freshman

It isn't USC. They lost to Stanford this year of course, but their last loss was to Stanford in October of last year. They have only lost 1 in their last 8 games.
My guess is Oklahoma.

Most likely Blake Bell.
