too much of a set-up episode - which I realize every series needs - but the first time I feel like they just mailed it in
I don't think the actors mailed it in... but the writers kinda did. Lots of filler with a couple major storyline advances.

I would say Galvez is dead.
IMO if he dies now that would be rather anti-climatic considering how much the show has put into his character. I say miracle recovery. Still not sure if Galvez is the mole...the terrorist swat team would have known he was there in the tailor's shop when they went in guns hot...unless they thought they were done with him so they could tie up that loose end.

They need to end this Dana/Finn subplot with the quickness

If he is the mole - It sets up for a powerful "deathbed confession" type scene.

Quite possible. Galvez as a character can't just be killed off without another scene with him.

The more I think about it the more I am leaning to Saul as the mole but we don't yet know what his motivation is.
The razor blade
The glasses left with Eileen
The safe in Estes office
He is controlling Carrie and keeping her inside the loop
The time he spent in Lebanon while Brody ran for congress

It's been in the back of my head about Saul being the mole also...that would be a hell of a twist!

I don't see any motivation for Saul being a mole.
He transported Brody's suicide tape, treats Carrie like a daughter, seems to dislike politics, and got emotional with Eileen because they came from similar backgrounds.
Unless the producers have created the ultimate troll, I don't see Saul revealing himself as a villain.

The possible motivation for Saul being a mole is friction between him and walden from back in walden's CIA director days
Perhaps Saul is not an outright traitor but is a agent provocateur manipulating situations towards his own plan.

If Saul is a mole I will never watch another episode of this show again.

Its possible, and perhaps likely.
That makes me lean towards not him.

So what's nazirs plan to blow up?? I wonder if he is going to come after Dana. Hence the long drawn out story line w the hit and run???

I WANT them to kill Dana. She sucks.

I wish Clare Danes was halfway attractive.

I've seen her at times that she looked pretty good. Way too many times she looks like she got Rodney King'd with an ugly stick.
I'd say "halfway attractive" is a fair summation
