Anchoring topics on the food board

I know you dont like thread topics where The subject of the thread is too short and not descriptive enough, but the food board isnt the OT, Rant, etc. I noticed topics get anchored because it is just the restaurants name. 9 times out of 10 the topic is asking about the place.
Do you really just want people to put "how is" in front of every topic asking about a place?
Food board is pretty much the same group of people that always post there. If some "random" comes over asking about a place, its the regulars responding to the thread and we dont really need some descriptive thread title to know what the thread is about

Just posting here so you don't feel bad.

I agree. I had two threads with good discussions anchored yesterday. So I have to start another thread? This is bullshite.
Naming a restaurant should be all that is needed. So I have to say how is this place or anyone ever been to this place or did I see your momma dancing on the table at this place?
They need to take their heads out of their asses and tend to the idiots on the Rant.

I agree, I can understand the "make every subject line read like a headline" on the OT or the Rant, but its a dumb rule on the food board, gaming board and movie board.

Just so I'm clear, people are complaining about having to put three or four or -- gasp -- maybe even five extra words in a subject line?
"Suggestions for dinner at Emeril's"
"My review of brunch at Palace Cafe"
"What is your go-to entree at Taco Bell"
Yeah, Chicken really asks too much of you.

in actuality, we are complaining about anchored threads.

We should be allowed to be lazy on the internet.

Ice, this rule makes sense on the OT and the Rant, but not in the movie board where a movie title can be enough for a discussion or in the food board where all you need to discuss is the name.
I get that new rules are added all the time, but this tule makes limited sense on some boards.

i dont see why it matters.
If people are that turned off by it, it will just drop to the bottom.
more times than not, most Food board posters will click on the thread regardless.
you could also argue that i am more likely to click on a thread with a less descriptive title than one with more info. Cliffhanger type of thing.

I agree with all of this.
It's not necessary on the Food Board. There honestly isn't much to be watched by admins on the Food Board in general.
