The central/st Amant game was ugly. Central had the the ball 4th and goal at the one TWICE and didn't score. Rained all game. Not ideal for the way central plays. No rain and Central wins by 2 td's. Central's win over STM is looking good.

Could have been a different game but Idk if rain really made a difference. St.amant's line play won that game. Central's skill players are another level but the last few years they have struggled with the big guys. Looking forward to central coming to town next week though they should be fired up and it will be a barnburner.

No hard feelings since the beatdown with the behind the back pass these games have been nailbiters. Last year was just a plain shootout probably how this one will end up.I claim to hate central but I find myself pulling for them when zachary doesn't play them. I respect the program they have built. I look forward to this game every year not a better atmosphere anywhere it's electric.

VC has to be shocker of the night

STM has been playing well and is the most improved team since Week 1

Central, what happened here?

I can't even imagine the number of wifebeaters worn in the stands of this game.

Random rant....when/why/where did airhorns become the "in" thing to have at a HS football game? Worse and lamer than cowbells at MissSt.

It certainly was a fantastic game. You could see the VC were shocked that the game was close. They came in expecting to dominate, and it was close for most of the game.

Jacoby Davis got hurt in the 4th quarter, but he wasn't doing all that much outside of two long runs he had (one for TD).

Dunham shut out VC in the 2nd half.

Dont take the Behind the Back thing personal, Will Briscoe had been begging Mahaffy to use that play all season. I think he enjoyed throwing backwards more than he did forward

And the respect is mutual from me. Neil Weiner is a great guy (although the whole clock in the lockerroom thing blew up im his face a little bit) and id be lying if i said I wasnt jealous of that ridiculous field you guys have. Do yall still have those tall arse recievers yall had last season? I hope not

I hear your hate, but I refuse to accept it.

Plus, Central is much more trashy than St. Amant. And don't you live on the west bank?
