Got high as a kite with several legit stars from the football team and basketball team in the mid 80's. There were about 7 of us and plenty of smoke amd alcohol. House party just blocks from Broussard Hall. Initials are JR, JV, OC, NB from basketball and RM, JD, EM, OJ from football.

Played pick up basketball games with tyrus Thomas, Simone Augustus, CT3, Leon Landry and garret temple.

I know Germaine Williams' family pretty well. We hang out everyone once and a while and play Madden.
Shaq was a good friend of his, and he came hang out at my wife and I's house after a football game a couple years ago.
Ben Wilkerson's wife is a good friend of my wife and was in my wedding.

One might I found myself hammered down by the amphitheater parking lot where those apartments are. It was after the mid tenn st win. I met these two girls and asked for a ride. She said her boyfriend coyuld give me a ride when he gets here. Her boyfriend was Jonathan Zenon. And he gave me a ride in his escalade on 24's.

Played in a 3 on 3 Tournament with Todd Kinchen, Tommy Hodson and Tony Moss.
Sat on a 4 hour plane ride with Wendell Davis (very nice guy) and talked football the entire time.
Played cards with Ben McDonald on more than one occassion (friends from HS)
Son took lessons with Russ Johnson when he was 11 and 12.

I walked over to a late night house party in beau pre in 06 and partied with most of the football team. Flynn was so sloppy he could barely stand.
I also helped keiland williams pass a sociology quiz by letting him look at my answers. I told him the only reason I was helping him was bc I knew he would be carrying the rock this year. He lit up like a kid when I told him that.

Andolsek, Nacho, et al used to water ski with us in the summer. Eric's brother is married to a girl I grew up with. Duck hunted with Eric a few times. Ate a few peices of Popeye's as he would eat the rest of the box. Miss the big guy. My little brother has the last autograph he ever signed, day before he got hit.
Haven't seen the family in a long time. Hope Andy, Susan and all the family are doing well.

As a freshman ( 1969) I played in a full tackle football game in the muddy field next to and South of Tiger Stadium. Tommy Casanvva was running with the ball and I attempted to tackle him. I did not even slow him down. Later he said "good hit" but I know he was just being nice.

Was seated next to Sylvia Fowles on a flight from Atlanta to Rome back in 2007. I believe she was headed over for a USWNT game against the Italians in Naples. She was quite shy but very nice and amazed that I knew about LSU sports and therefore knew who she was.
Also was on a flight with Kelvin Sheppard and Dwayne Bowe in 2006 I believe (whatever year Sheppard redshirted). It was shortly before the season started and Bowe was describing to Sheppard what it was like to travel for away games and what the stadiums were like, etc. They also talked recruiting a bit and Sheppard was telling Bowe about this new QB that Florida had signed and how awesome he was going to be in college. Bowe said he never heard of him and couldn't care less. They were talking about Tebow.

... had a beer and burger with Shaquille O'Neal at bar of original "Georges'" under Perkins Rd overpass ... he just walked in , by himself , he was on his 1st "official" visit .. He slide up to the bar sat right down next to me - I'm like - this guy is HUGE... I said " so ... hello, you look like you could play some hoops for the Tigers .. my name is Gus " He says . "Hi , I'm Shaq "
... all I remember after that was he had a very deep voice .. he was very nice .. we made small talk ... I jus' kept thinking to myself : WE GOT TO GET THIS GUY .. holy shite !

Sat next to Warren Morris in a Georaphy class. He would sometimes let me copy his homework. Nice guy.
